Flicking her attention between the two she wondered if this was going to get interesting, her fists balling at her sides, two balls of shadow forming around them as she grew excited

[2014/06/18 18:46]  NicoleA Stine draws her fangs from his neck leaving his wounds open. She looks down at her stomach as she feels the burn of the bullet travel through her body. She covers the wound with her hand "You're Pathetic, once a noble Vampire." she shakes her head then looks down at the blood ooze through her fingers. She stands up and stands over his body breathing heavy with blood dripping from her mouth. She spits at him then steps over his body "If you die you die...." she turns to look at him. "Come by my library again and I guarantee you wont survive" she winces in pain caused by the bullet

[2014/06/18 18:49]  νєgεтα (mordeth.morgwain) tried to roll onto his side to grab her ankle as she went to flee as he began to crawl towards her and lost the gun in the process. "I don't know..." He growled in a low tone. "What you're talkin' about.." He hissed as his metal claw raked the street as he tried to move forward further as blood poured down his throat and over the front of himself before he began to fight against the black. A smear of crimson following in his wake.

She mumbles to herself but out loud "I hope I don't regret this..." she winces some more then she begins to heal her wound

[2014/06/18 18:58]  νєgεтα (mordeth.morgwain) flopped about like something of a dead fish as his wound was staunched. His limbs doing that awkward flopping thing that the unconscious bodies do. His head lolled to the side as he sank down to the pavement.

[2014/06/18 19:00]  NicoleA Stine 's bullet wound reopens. She tries to heal herself but nothing she does works. She feels heat flowing through her body as if she were burning from the inside. She feels weak and begins to stagger as she walks

[2014/06/18 19:04]  Sir Integra (rowan.fallen) looks at the woman and frowns. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a vial of epicac. "Ya... probably aught to empty yer stomach before ya try to feed again lass." She frowned and held out the vial.

She starts to drink from the bath and feels her stomach wound begin to heal. Slowly she feels the burning sensations ease and eventually stop. She rolls over and sits on the ground with her back to the wall

Where does this come off?" He curses to himself. He looks frantically...until he sees buckles on the side of Ryuu's chest plate. "BINGO!!" He cries aloud and he goes to work undoing the armor. Starting with the right side, then the left. He removes the chest piece and sets it down on the floor....if that's how the armor comes off.....if so, he proceeds to step 2. "Ok.....Ready Cal? I will have you remove the arrows....."

[16:20] Jaco Guisse made his way slowly up the stairs, eyes skimming over a the book in his hands. Glancing up as he reached the top floor, the vampire smiled over to Nicole, calling, "Oh, my. Looks like I've finally run into one of you! If I'm not mistaken?" Closing the book, but keeping his fingers within the pages to mark his place, the male continued, "I know we met some time ago.. briefly. But your name eludes me." Giving a slight bow from the hips, Jaco introduced, "If the fogginess is mutual, call me Jaco."

[16:23] NicoleA Stine turns at the sound of jaco's voice she steps closer to him. She stands with her arms folded as she eyes him "Jaco... I am Nicole" she tilts her head to one side. "So tell me, Jaco... why are you in a restricted area of my library?" she pauses for a moment then lifts a hand to lay on her chest.

So, due to my history and skill set I've come to take over as Director of the Library. I'm familiar with most of the.. dealings that the Institute dabbles in - besides literature. And in fact look to further expand our.. repertoire." Smiling, his fangs visible but the look kindly, he summarized, "With your help, of course, Nicole."

Smiling at her last comment, Jaco agreed, "Yes, so do I. Now, who all else is left? Have you seen another librarian lately? I'd like to take a tally of those who were loyal to this house and.. reward them." Pausing, he noted to Nicole, "Which includes yourself, in due time."

Plus, it's less suspicious to have fewer numbers, anyhow. So it allows us to operate a bit more stealthily in the city." Pacing slowly, the male questioned, "Are there any ongoing matters in the city that we're involved in that I should be made aware of?"

[17:06] Jaco Guisse grins, teasing, "Yes, I've actually been rifling through the drawers for a couple days now. Found some interested tidbits, but also found that the filing system here was atrocious." Winking to her, the male mused, "Well, though brief, I think this serendipitous meeting was quite beneficial." Starting to walk away, towards the stairs, Jaco swiftly turned and asked, "Oh! Do you all still use communicators? Or has that gone out as well?"

[07:40] NicoleA Stine takes the envelope and places it in her book. She looks up at him and smiles "So how have you been? All is well I hope?"

[07:45] NicoleA Stine looks up at the sky and slides her sunglasses down her nose. "Full moon already?" she slides the glasses up her nose and turns to look at him "Those are always fun." she grins "Well I hope these next few days will be... uneventful for you." she smiles "In a good way that is"

[08:07] NicoleA Stine shrugs a shoulder "The library is well... the library. Nothing exciting really happens amongst all those books. I spend most of my day dusting the shelves. It has become a more lonely place since the disappearnace of the head librarian" she frowns a bit sarcastically "Seems no one can find him." she leans in close and lowers her voice to almost a whisper "Lets hope no none looks in the basement" she leans back and offers him a wink

[08:38] NicoleA Stine returns to the library and takes a seat at the table. She flips open her book and removes an envelope. She lays the book on the table. She slides her fingernail under the flap of the envelope to open it . She removes the paper form the envelope, unfolds it and reads :Please Congrats our Brother Cepheus Adler who ascended in power to be our new Leader/ GM ... Continue your great work and rp and please cooperate with him to make a good future to the whole KA .... There is a meeting taking place today at the warehouse 3 PM.. we hope you all can attend as there is much to be discussed

Nicole Finds a New Vampire with No Sire

[13:00] Raddick Lasimba (virgildesparta): following me?

[13:01] NicoleA Stine smirks "Yeah, I'm following you" her statement drips with sarcasm

[13:02] Raddick Lasimba (virgildesparta) blinks and gives a bright smile to her and bows to her slightly "im sorry if ive offended you i will carry on then" as he would start to walk off

[13:02] Brad Sparrowtree: grins and waves tot he pale woman

[13:04] NicoleA Stine stops and looks over at Brad. Her eyes narrows. She steps closer and in a soft seductive voice "Hello"

[13:06] Brad Sparrowtree: he grins as she turns and comes back waving once again as he lights up a cigarette he says "Hello there" he wants to just come out with it and ask demon or vampire being that pale it had to be one of the two but he decided to be more subtle about it looking up at her he blows out a cloud of smoke and goes on to say "I haven't really seen you around Im Brad"

[13:08] NicoleA Stine tilts her head to one side and studies him as he speaks "Oh you haven't seen me around?" she raises a brow "Have you been looking for me?.... Brad" She folds her arms "I am Nicole, a librarian here in the city."

[13:10] Brad Sparrowtree: he smirks and then chuckles going on to say "no not at all why would i be looking for you its just a small city is all you tend to know most faces then again i haven't been around much myself" he pauses a moment pondering and blowing out another puff of smoke he continues by saying "librarian huh i like to read its quite relaxing don't you think"

[13:13] NicoleA Stine nods her head "Yes most relaxing. Perhaps you should stop by fill out a library card and enjoy our books" she half smiles

[13:16] Brad Sparrowtree: pauses a moment and ponders before going on to say "i may just do that i do enjoy a good book" he once again blows out another puff of smoke and leaves off with saying "its always a challenge finding like minded people around this dump then again we vampires living as long as we do do tend to have a lust for knowledge"

[13:30] NicoleA Stine tries to push him back against the post. A growl builds deep inside her. "Nobody asks for this. There is no more family, no more friends, and there is certainly no more caring." She narrows her gaze and attempts to poke him in his chest as she speaks "Take your ass to the warehouse, find one of the elders and learn your role in this world," she folds her arms "They will bring you along, teach you the way." she lifts a hand and points a finger in his face "And never, ever let others know that you are a monster" she drops her hand and restrains herself

[13:42] Brad Sparrowtree: he shakes his head and says with a smirk as she pushes him back into the pole "ive survived this long without help the vamp that decided i was her meal didnt care if i lived or died and you said yourself there is no family no friends and no caring so why should i care if i know" he pauses a moment and goes on "how did you put it know the way" he shrugs his shoulders a little and then with his hand flings up and attempts to swat her finger out of the way looking into her eyes he goes on to say "you talk like you are queen bee lady well im sorry not all of us were lucky enough to have a liege or someone to teach us the ropes and rules i had to survive alone by myself not even knowing what the fuck i was so please dont preach to me on what i should or shouldn't do" angered by the womans approach he growls lowly and lets out a deep sigh as he looks into her eyes

She taught me the way for a purely selfish reasons, to ensure the survival of the race." she pauses "And like all little birdies it was time for me to leave the nest." she looks side to side again then brings her eyes to meet his. "If you need a place and you are unsure of yourself I can be found at the library" she shakes her head and looks away. She mumbles "I can believe I am about to do this..." she looks back at him and speaks in a stern voice "If you need help you come to me."

[13:56] Brad Sparrowtree: shrugs his shoulders and looking deeply into her eyes he says in a flat toned voice "i guess i should say thank you although I'm already dead so being killed for a second time in one life time wouldn't suck as much as the first" he chuckles a little and pauses a moment going on to say "i know people around the city and have heard tales of the kindred i don't need help from people that only care about the survival of there race i am not a vampire i am not of a kind i am a man period" he shakes his head he would never go to kindred for help he looks her up and down and with a smile says "thank you for the advice and the offer of help"

After 500 years of the curse you will know who you are." she takes a step to the side "Like I said, anytime you need to read a book stop by the library" she takes a few steps and continues to the library if not stopped.

Nicole meets Neofelida

[10:13]  Neofelida (neofelida.tigerpaw) arcs a brow and replies in an apologetic tone "Oh, I didn't know... excuse me...I didn't want to offend you...this must be very hard to have all those treasures around and cannot...oh excuse me again. I should shut up, I'm making it worse." She steps aside to allow the woman to pass by, turns around to the other female sitting at the table and cackles "I didn't wnat to offend her, I just asked for help. I told her I'm still new in town. Name's Neofelida and I'm only searching for a little help... oh I told you before, didn't I? Are you working here, too? I hope you are not one of the people I met here before. They refused to help me." she twitters and shows her canines in a unsophisticated smirk.

[10:15]  NicoleA Stine lifts her head from writing, she looks over at Neo "Excuse me? I'm sorry I don't believe we have met before but yes i do work here. Is there something I could help you with?" she lays her pen on the table and stands

[10:22]  Neofelida (neofelida.tigerpaw) keeps on smiling and reaches out her hand in greeting "I'm Neofelida. And yes, no, we haven't met before. I remember faces you know? And I don't remember yours. When I was here before there were two different ladies. They weren't nice. I hope they are gone. Are you running this place? If you are I would like to complain about them." she catches breath and continues babbling "I was looking for books and the nice blind lady said I would need a card... I don't have a card" she looks into the woman's eyes simpering

[10:25]  NicoleA Stine takes the feline's hand "It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Nicole. " she drops her hand to her side and shakes her head "No I am not in charge here, I am simply a librarian but I can help you with whatever you need. I will inform management of your complaint, but in the meantime what is it you need help with?"

[10:36]  Neofelida (neofelida.tigerpaw) shifts her weight her tail wiggling behind and her ears twitching. She glances at the woman with a blank expression on her face and narrows her eyes as if she would try to remember something. Then suddenly her grin reappears and she puts out in her babbling tone "Now I remember... I did see you before... I nearly forgot... Yes yes indeed. I saw you talking with Master Darken earlier this day" her smile widens again and she adds "I know Master Darken, he is a business man" she nods frantically "I wanted to read all the books about crime waves, fires or other incidents in Toxia back five or six years, but the blind lady said I needed a card for this. I think the blind lady runs the library." she keeps on nodding

[10:41]  NicoleA Stine nods her head "Yes I know Darken. But I am sure you are not here to discuss him." she looks over to where Nerissa was standing and points where she was standing "Did she tell you she was in charge here?" she would drop her hand "Well if you dont have a card then lets get you one." she turns and reaches for her pen and a library card application, she turns to hand them both to Neo "it is simple just fill this out and you can borrow a book" she smiles

[10:48]  Neofelida (neofelida.tigerpaw) reaches out to take the card and beams with joy. "Thank you Lady Nicole." She touches the card with her hands caressing it gently then turns back to the Librarian "No, no the blind lady didn't say she is boss, but Neofelida is smart" she tips her finger against her forehead and smirks "A blind lady in a Library... ha - she must be the boss because she cannot see all the books" she puts out triumphantly.

[10:52]  NicoleA Stine smiles at Neo "Yes very smart you are." she folds her arms "So while you fill that out lets get you what you need." she smiles "So you want a book about crime in the city eh?" she lifts a hand and taps her finger on her chin "Lets see... Well what I can offer you is a book of the history of the city. Would that help you?"

[10:57]  Neofelida (neofelida.tigerpaw) nods and replies "See, I was right with the blind lady" she states her face beaming with pride. She starts to read the form and while doing so mumbles "Yes, yes, history book would be wonderful."

[11:01]  Ryuushin Mazi wanders into the library, eyes flicking over to Nicole and the feline as she passes them, but it seems she barely gives them a thought as various and sundry books float from the stacks and follow her up the stairs as she mutters to herself, her mind clearly on something else, and not in the here-and-now

[11:02]  NicoleA Stine walks over to the shelves and lays a finger on the book. She walks down the length of the book cases gliding her fingers over the spines of the book "Hmm lets see... " she stops and with one finger she slides the book from its spot. She holds the book with both hands against her chest and turns to face the feline. "I hope this book will help you." she looks at the pen and paper "Almost done?"

[11:04]  Neofelida (neofelida.tigerpaw) nods frantically "Yes, yes, I'm not only smart but fast as the wind as well" she grimaces and hands over the filled out form

[11:06]  NicoleA Stine smiles as she takes the paper from her. She looks over the paper and smiles. She extends her hand holding out the book towards Neo "Here you go, its due back in two weeks. Please don't be late" she smiles

[11:11]  Neofelida (neofelida.tigerpaw) smiles "I'm never late." she replies "only when I am sleeping or when I got visit from my friends. I have friends, you know?" she takes the book and flips it open pretending to read a few lines but holding it upside down. "Thank you kindly, Miss Nicole. You are a nice lady. Like the blind boss-lady. She is nice, too. Not like the ones who worked here before you."

[11:13]  NicoleA Stine nods her head and notices the book is upside down. She raises a brow slightly and smiles "Yes I am sure you wont be late..." she smiles

[11:17]  Neofelida (neofelida.tigerpaw) nods smiling again and turns away to leave the library whistling a tune without striken a single right tone. "bye bye, Miss Nicole" she calls and vanishes out of the door
