It seems that The Omega Institute is seeking revenge for the attempted assassination of the the Institutes Researcher Lyra. The Institute sent some of its members to the headquarters of the Kindred Alliance to find NicoleA. The Omega Institute was instructed that NicoleA has been exiled from the Kindred Alliance. The full transcript of the events can be read in past blogs. NicoleA learned this though a message from Joah Menjou.
......(Joah Menjou) I spoke softly. “The only exchange I'm interested is NicoleA’s and her sisters' heads on a plate. My name is Joah. I will keep looking.”
NicoleA has taken this message as a threat on her life. NicoleA has convened her league of Assassins to protect her at all costs! If any harm comes to NicoleA, her assassins will seek out certain members of The Omega Institute and do what needs to be done.

Joah stands before the stacks, fingers tracing along the spines of a row of books. She stops, then pulls out a large volume from the shelf, thick and dusty with age, it's leather binding spotted and cracked. Laying the book on the Library table behind her, she quickly flips through to the index: "Curse of the Sun, Curse of Fire, Curse of Air, Curse of Water, Dendara's Curse...." she murmurs.
