A possible plot against the Library

Main Characters Nicole, Bonnell Hancroft, Elsurion Wizardly and Lady Syd

Nicole learns of a possible plan the Coven has to harm the library but no specific details. 


[19:39] Bonnell Hancroft approaches the bench with a cunning smile, "Good evening Miss Dewey Decimal."

[19:40] NicoleA Stine eyes Bonnell as he walks over to her. She offers him a pleasant smile "And good evening to you my good Sir?" she offers him a respectable nod of her head

[19:41] Bonnell Hancroft chuckles, "Any naughty books causing trouble in the streets tonight?"

[19:43] NicoleA Stine shakes her head slowly "No, it appears to be a quiet night tonight." she smiles and tilts her head "Have you found any mischief tonight?"

[19:44] Bonnell Hancroft raises his eyebrows, "Well, the night is still young. Who knows what dreams may come."

[19:46] Dinaliia stops in front of haven glancing around at those on the street.

[19:46] NicoleA Stine uncrosses the crosses her legs and with both hands she smooths her skirt. He dangling foot bounces as she speak "And what are your dreams for tonight?"

[19:49] Bonnell Hancroft tilts his head back and forth, "The usual, to see knowledge, perhaps enlightenment.. Maybe I'll find them in some inspiring conversation, or at the bottom of a bottle. Enlightenment is tricky like that."

[19:50] Bonnell Hancroft: *to seek knowledge

[19:53] NicoleA Stine nods her head slowly as she listens to him "Ah it is knowledge that you seek is it..." she adjusts her self on the bench "Be warned though. Knowledge is a valuable item in this city. Both expensive and dangerous to obtain." she muses "Do you have what it takes to gain knowledge ?"

[19:57] Dinaliia rolls her eyes a bit as she stands where she is listening to things being said around her.

[19:57] Bonnell Hancroft stiffens as he looks at her quizzically, "Odd, do you suggest that the poor run around as fools? Doesn't anyone with eyes, ears, and half a mind gain knowledge? Heck, yesterday that wild red head was practically showboating her so-called plans with the fellow across the street, practically inviting strangers to inquire her machinations." Shaking his head, "Perhaps I'm more used to a more sophisticated age. Time will tell."

[20:00] Elsurion Wizardly 's eyes flick to Bonell across the street, snorting out of amusement for whatever reason, then he looked to Mag again "Ah .. this usually happens in the arena... " he points leftward. "Let me show you the way.. " he starts to walk.

[20:02] NicoleA Stine curls a corner of her mouth "The poor and the weak are fools of this city." she brings a hand up to comb her fingers through her hair "And what plans was that?"

[20:04] Dinaliia tilts her head a bit as she continues listening waiting to see what will be said next.

[20:05] Bonnell Hancroft shrugs, "I figure you would know. She asked you to tell two others to meet her. I forgot their names. I find such overt invitations to secrets, suspicious. Hope your friends are prepared."

[20:09] NicoleA Stine has a puzzled expression on her face as she shakes her head "This woman spoke to me?"

[20:11] Bonnell Hancroft nods, "You didn't respond, so I figured you were either distracted or playing coy. The only other thing I know is the dark gentleman who was so recently on the corner, said something about the plan not being ready. Still...a fishy hook if I heard one."

[20:13] NicoleA Stine nods her head as he referring to Els, "And what did this gentleman have to say about my friends and me?"

[20:14] Bonnell Hancroft shakes his head, "The gentleman said nothing. The lady however seemed to want a meeting with your friends. Possibly to conspire further, or give on such airs to a conspiracy." Motioning to the free spot on the bench, "May I have a seat?"

[20:16] NicoleA Stine looks to where Bonnell motioned then turned to him "But of course you may sit" she flashes a smile at him then brings her hand up to her chin and taps her long bony finger on it. "Ah the red head would be Lady Syd... " he humms "Hmmm I wonder what the coven hahs planned" she thinks out loud.

[2013/01/14 20:22]  Bonnell Hancroft sits down politely, but shrugs off her thoughts, "As I said, she seemed too overt in her manners, I didn't take notes because it just seemed so suspicious. Last time I followed a trail so heavily bread crumbed, I found myself in the back of a casino being worked over by two goons." After posing for a moment, "Anyhow, I tell you this not for flourish, but because you have my attention. You say there is knowledge that is hard to gather, but I find that not the case. Besides those so-called plans, I've heard of a woman with demon liquid in her breasts that is somehow putting the security of her hive at risk, and another lady who offered her soul to a demon for protection. The only reason that last one caught my attention is because afterwords, he stated that her soul wasnt much use to him, so I suspect she'll be bait for bigger fish. So, please tell me, is this the best your city has to offer, or are there real secrets, ones that are woven into the fabric of everyone here?"

[2013/01/14 20:31]  NicoleA Stine listens to Bonnell as he speaks with great interest "The secrets that you have discovered from overhear a conversation are only valubale if there is someone willing to pay a price. Once someone tells another about a secret it is no longer secret. True secrets are the thoughts and desires we hold near and dear to our hearts that no one else knows" She continues to bounce her foot as she speaks . "A secret is most valuable to the one it belongs too" she watches for a moment as Lourden passes by and stops speaking. She watches as he turns the corner.
[2013/01/14 20:36]  Bonnell Hancroft smiles kindly, "My experience has taught me otherwise. Please, do not mistake me for a gossip. I'm not selling my knowledge, merely saying that anyone who tries can gain it. As for your true secrets, well, those can be found by studying someone's behavior."

[2013/01/14 20:40]  NicoleA Stine she leans in closer to Bonnell "I will warn you, never speak of what you over heard yesterday on the street." she leans back "Yes it is easy to gain knowledge but staying alive afterwards is what is difficult"

[2013/01/14 20:41]  Bonnell Hancroft chuckles with amusement, "Staying alive, that's a knack. That's why I typically keep things to myself."
[2013/01/14 20:42]  Lourden (lourden.darkthorn): *Shrugs a little.* Not My problem anymore. Bleed them all for all I care. If you don't, I will. Makes no difference to Me.

[2013/01/14 20:45]  NicoleA Stine smiles "Thats good to know. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you. As I said yesterday, if you are in danger, need help or need a place to shelter The hotle would be a suitable place. You will find many of your kind there who are willing to help." she scans the area "Ask for Camille or Stitch. They will take you in .'

[2013/01/14 20:46]  Bonnell Hancroft nods, "Yes, I've heard of Stitch already. If I wish to stay alive, I think it would be better than I study him further." Looking over to her with a sinister grin, "About those true secrets. I bet you'd be interested to know what think of you in such a short time. Ready to dismiss me with a laugh, yet afraid at the same time that I find my mark."

[2013/01/14 20:49]  NicoleA Stine tilts her head to one side "And what have you heard of Stitch?" she shakes her head "I would never dismiss someone." she pauses "Please tell me, what do you think of me in the limited contact we have had?"

[2013/01/14 20:52]  Bonnell Hancroft grins, "Oh no, your advice is true. Keep secrets close to ones chest, if one wishes to survive. And so that is what I'll do about Stitch." Looking at her with an appraising eye, "Now about you. Again normally I'd keep quiet, but it would amuse me to no end to see that stoic form of yours budge an inch in reaction." Pausing a moment to collect his thoughts, "You pride yourself as an independent thinker and do not accept others' statements without satisfactory proof. But you have found it unwise to be too frank in revealing yourself to others."

[2013/01/14 20:57]  NicoleA Stine lays her hand on the bench and leans in closer to him as she props herself up with her arm "You just discribes 90% of all the vampires" she offers him a smile then leans back and brings her hand back to rest in her lap.

[2013/01/14 21:00]  Bonnell Hancroft smiles, "Well, if that is the case, then this city shall be enjoyable. Most vampires I've met are fighters not thinkers." Sighing for a moment, "Oh well. I can't really say much more about you without the risk of putting my foot in my mouth."

[2013/01/14 21:02]  NicoleA Stine tilts her head "The younger vampires of this city are the fighters. As you become older you learn to use your brain as your primary weapon. However it is beneficial to learn the way of the sword..." she looks around the area "Especially in this town" she turns to look him in the eye "And what makes you think you haven't put your foot in your mouth already?" she stares at him with a blank look on her face for just a moment before curling her lip into a smile

[2013/01/14 21:05]  Bonnell Hancroft flashes a toothy smile back, "Because of my nature." Rising to his feet, "Another enjoyable discussion, but I really must seek out more secrets and true secrets, as you say."

[2013/01/14 21:08]  NicoleA Stine watches him rise to his feet and she smiles and offers him a respectable nod of her head "A pleasure as always my fine gentleman. Please do stop by again"

[2013/01/14 21:09]  Bonnell Hancroft smiles again as he walks off.
